The Air Jordan 3 El Vuelo is the headline of this week's intake at Cold Shoulder Kicks — and it's sitting on the shelf well under what it retailed for. Alongside it: two used Balenciaga pairs, a run of Purple Brand denim, and a small stack of tees from independent labels. Here's everything that landed, what's actually left, and how we'd wear it.

The Air Jordan 3 El Vuelo
The El Vuelo is the lucha libre–inspired Jordan 3 built on a Summit White leather base, with snakeskin-textured Dragon Red overlays where the elephant print normally sits and a Pine Green collar. Metallic gold hits the eyelets and Jumpman. The tongue lining reads "más vale maña que fuerza" — skill over strength.
It carried a $230 retail price when it dropped. Ours is listed at $150 in a size 10.5M / 12W — one pair, on the El Vuelo product page.
How we'd style it
The El Vuelo does a lot of talking, so the rest of the fit shouldn't. Straight black denim and a plain tee lets the red and green overlays carry the outfit. If you want to pull the green out, do it with a hat rather than a top — matching a shirt to the collar reads costume-y fast.
Two Used Balenciaga Pairs
Used designer footwear is where the value usually hides, and both of these came in wearable:
- Balenciaga Track Trainer in black and red — $235, size 8M / 9.5W. The Track's layered panelling makes it a chunkier alternative to a runner silhouette.
- Balenciaga Leather Strike — $235, size 9M / 10.5W. No box, leather upper, exaggerated lug sole.
Both are pre-owned, so expect honest wear — that's reflected in the price. If you're new to buying used, check the sizing note in each listing carefully, since designer footwear rarely tracks true to a US sneaker size.
Purple Brand Denim, Three Ways
Three pairs of Purple Brand landed this week at three different price points, which makes this a good week to get into the brand if you've been waiting:
- P002 Vintage Spotted Indigo — $175, the most detailed wash of the three, in sizes 30 through 38.
- P.001 Light Wash Distressed — $85, size 28.
- P.001 Plain Black Washed — $60, size 28.

Building a Fit From This Week's Intake
If you wanted to buy one complete look out of everything above, we'd go: El Vuelo on foot, black P.001 denim, a Notics tee, and the grey Supreme socks. That's a fit anchored by one loud shoe and otherwise kept quiet — roughly $330 all in at current listed prices, which is less than the Jordan 3 and a pair of jeans would cost at full retail separately.
A Note on Sizing
Single-pair inventory means the size listed is the only size. If you're between sizes on a Jordan 3, most people find it runs true to length but narrow through the midfoot, so going up is the safer error. For the Balenciaga pairs, treat the listed conversion as a starting point rather than gospel.
